175 Years of Transformation

175 Years of Transformation - Lives being served, lives being changed.

On Sunday, June 11 we will celebrate our 175th anniversary. Instead of our usual three services on Sunday morning, we will have one service at 10:30 a.m. so everyone can take part in the festivities together.

To commemorate the occasion we have a full schedule of exciting events planned beginning with a prayer walk at 8:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to join us as we walk through the neighbourhood before the service to pray for the people of Toronto.

We welcome Archbishop Colin Johnson who will celebrate with us as part of our worship service. After the service we will gather as a congregation to have a parish photo taken. There will also be a photo booth set up in the Great Hall for those who would like individual shots to remember the day or just for fun! Instead of our usual community lunch Chef Omari is serving up cupcakes and hors d’oeuvres after the service.

There will be tours of the Sanctuary with historical information about St. Paul’s and some of our past members. We are also collecting testimonies from parishioners about their time at St. Paul’s. These will be available for people to read. To add yours, click here.

This celebration is an opportunity for us all to reach out to our neighbours. With this in mind we have commissioned a beer that can be purchased at the office on Sunday, June 11. We encourage parishioners to purchase a few bottles to take home and share with neighbours and friends.

Plan to invite a friend and join us in celebrating 175 years of transformation!
