Baptism is a milestone that marks the beginning of your Christian journey. This is an exciting moment no matter what your age. Baptism services take place at scheduled times each year, and are available at all of our Sunday services – 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. St. Paul’s is here to support you as you take this step of faith and say ‘yes’ to following Jesus. We have courses to help you prepare, whether you are the parents of a baby or young child, a youth, or an adult.

To Prepare for Baptism

1. Join us on Sunday for worship and explore making St. Paul’s your church home. 2. Connect with our ministry staff to let us know of your interest in Baptism. We want to get to know you as you choose Baptism at St. Paul’s. If you are new to our community, we will plan to meet you on a Sunday morning to start the process.

  • Families can contact Janet Earle, Children’s Minister, regarding Baptism for their children.
  • Adults contact Robert Hurkmans, Director of Witness, regarding Baptism for themselves.

3. We want you to be well prepared, understand the Baptism promises, and have support on your Christian journey! So the next step is to sign up for our preparation courses. These are offered in the weeks before Baptism on Sunday mornings.

5. You will also receive a Baptism Request Form from ministry staff that must be completed and submitted three weeks before the Baptism date. Please let us know if you have any questions along the way. We want you to have confidence as you commit to learning how to be a follower of Jesus. We look forward to connecting with you at this exciting time in your spiritual journey.
