St. Paul's is pleased to announce the addition of a new Associate to our Ministry Team.

The Rev. Dr. Judy Paulsen will be joining St. Paul's on June 1st, 2013.

Judy spent her childhood in northwest India, where her parents served for 15 years as Anglican Missionaries. Her family moved back to Ottawa in 1962, where her father served as a parish priest. She grew up with five brothers and sisters.

When she was 15-years-old, Judy made a personal commitment to live her life as a follower of Jesus. Following High School, she studied Psychology and then Human Communication Disorders. She worked in the allied health profession of Speech and Language Pathology.

Judy entered formal training for ordained ministry in the Anglican Church of Canada in her 30s, after being called to ordained leadership. Over the years, Judy has served at St. Bride Anglican Church and Trinity Anglican Church. She is currently Senior Pastor at Christ Memorial Church in Oshawa.

She and her husband, Pat, have been married for 35 years. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. In her free time, Judy enjoys reading, kayaking, cooking, travelling and playing the fiddle.
