Many people are keen to manage their money, but often don’t have the skills required to do so.The CAP Money Course is a great place to start. The course, which teaches budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system, was devised by Christians Against Poverty.
Small groups are a great place to meet others and learn to follow Jesus among friends. Groups are led by trained members of the church and have between six and 15 members. They meet in various locations, at different times.
The Marriage Course is very practical, giving married couples or those preparing for marriage the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. Over seven evenings, couples talk about important issues that can often be swept under the rug in the rush of daily life.
Each of the five evenings begins with supper, there is then a talk, followed by an opportunity for each couple to discuss issues raised.
