Join us for a series of five educational sessions throughout April and May at 12:30 p.m. in Cody Hall. Lunch will be provided for $5. All are welcome.

The Truth and Reconciliation Story; the origins of the Commission, the procedures involved, and the outcomes.

April 17: Esther & Rev. Andrew Wesley
The Blanket Exercise; an interactive history lesson.

May 1: Nancy Hurn
The role of the Anglican Church’s Archives in providing relevant records for submission to the Truth and Reconciliation hearings.

May 15: Archbishop Terence Finlay
The Doctrine of Discovery, its impact on Canada’s history, and the church’s formal repudiation of this doctrine.

May 22: Bishop Mark MacDonald
Native spirituality and considering what reconciliation really means.
